Action New Orleans - Get Out The Vote Contest

No Purchase Necessary

1. All entrants to any of Action New Orleans contest both imply and agree to participate in the contests and obey the rules by their participation in the contest.

2. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.  Action New Orleans retains the right to substitute a prize with another similar prize of equal or greater value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond Action New Orleans’ control.

3. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on November 16, 2019. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing may be done through an electronic script which will randomly select the winner by using a computer script designed to select random entry or entries. Potential winners will be notified by email or telephone within one day of the drawing date. Each entrant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. 

4. Inability of winners to accept the prizes will result in forfeiture. 

5. Employees of Action New Orleans, their advertising agencies, and immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.

6. No prize may be used in any way that would have, or could have been expected to have an adverse or negative effect on Action New Orleans.

7. If the prize includes travel, lodging, entertainment, or a special event, winner is responsible for all taxes, expenses, and gratuities not expressly included in and as part of the prize. Winner agrees to accept all blackout dates, space availability requirements, etc. 

8. Winner will permit Action New Orleans to use their name, voice and/or likeness without prior notice or compensation, for promotional purposes in connection with the contest in either broadcast or print forms.

9. Winner is responsible for all costs associated with travel to any venue or event for which a prize was awarded, unless otherwise specified.

10. No purchase necessary.

11. By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Company/Sponsor, its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense which may occur from the conduct of, preparation for, travel to, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use or misuse of any prize or participation of any related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Company/Sponsor is not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded/delivered due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, or weather.   Sponsors for this Action New Orleans Get Out the Vote Contest event include Alvin Kamara and Larry Morrow, individually and collectively.

12. Only one person may enter any contest per written entry form. Any ties, disputes, conflicts, questions or concerns regarding Action New Orleans contests and/or their associated prizes will be handled by the Action New Orleans Executive Team, whose decisions are final and indisputable.

13. Contest/Prizes subject to Federal, State, and local regulations and laws and is void where restricted or prohibited by law. 

14. The value of the prize, lunch with Alvin Kamara, shall not exceed $250.00.
